We do talk a lot about seasonal maintenance. I had one of the technicians send me some before and after photos while doing a heating maintenance on a gas furnace. I thought I would share those, so you can actually see what a difference it makes.

Before maintenance you can clearly see the dust that has built up on the burners. If you’ve ever smelled a burning odor when you use your furnace for the first time, this is why. The dust is burning. Over time, without proper maintenance, this can cause several issues that routine maintenance could have prevented.

They say a picture says a thousand words, and in this instance, I think that’s true. Maintenance is important and clearly makes a difference.
